The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today got two-day transit remand of Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa. Balwa was sent to the remand by a special CBI court in Mumbai. The special court observed that the agency may need to confront Balwa with former telecom minister A Raja, who is already in the CBI custody in connection with the 2G spectrum case.Balwa, who was arrested on Tuesday from his Bandra residence, was produced before Special CBI Judge S C Chandak. The Judge allowed the agency two days of transit remand for his production before a Delhi court.
