In Manipur, altogether 29 militants from eight insurgent outfits, have surrendered to the government today before the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 57 Mountain Division of the Army, Major General Binoy Poonnen and state Additional Director General of Police V. Zathang at a home coming ceremony of militants held at the Headquarters of the Red Shield Division at Leimakhong. The militants also handed over their arms and ammunitions.
