29 gold medals will be on stake, on the penultimate day in Commonwealth games, today. The day will see the last results in Aquatics Diving, Boxing, Cycling, Lawn bowls, Shooting and Squash events. Medals will also be on offer in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Hockey and Table Tennis. Maximum 10 golds will be decided in boxing with host India in contention for gold in Fly Weight, Light Welter Weight and Super Heavy Weight categories. India boxers Suronjay, Manoj Kumar and Paramjeet Smaota will be in action for the yellow metal. The day will also see the 29 Kilometres women's cycle road event where India's Helen Devi, Panna Chaudhary and Sunita Devi will be in action. In men's 40 Kilometers cycle road event Amandeep Singh, Atul Kumar and Sombir will carry the Indian hopes. In shooting, 6 gold medals will be decided. Chandrashekhar Kumar Chaudhary and Samresh Jung are contenders for gold in 25 meters standard pistol event. Women's pairs 10 meters air pistol Gold winners Annuraj Singh and Heena Sidhu will now vy for the top honours in the singles event. India's Hariom Singh and Gagan Narang will be action in men's 50 meters rifle prone. In Table Tennis, the duo of Subhajit Saha and A Sharat Kamal will be in contention for the Double's Gold. Women's singles gold will also be decided today. Sharat Kamal and Soumyadeep Roy will also be in Single's semifinals while Paulomi Ghatak and Mauma Das will try to secure a final berth in the women's Doubles. Women's hockey final between Australia and New Zealand will also be held today. Two gold medals will be decided in Aquatics Diving and Lawn Bowls events each while 3 gold are on stake in Squash and one in Gymnastics. In Badminton, 5 Bronzes will be decided today, with India assured of one in men's Singles.
