In the largest ever seizure in this year, Border Security Force has seized 27 kilogram Heroin on the Indo-Pak border in Amritsar sector and foiled the attempt of Pakistani smugglers to cross over to India, in the wee hours on Wednesday. The estimated cost of the contraband in the international market is said to be 135 crore rupees. In another incident, the BSF has seized a pistol with ammunition and Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) in Ferozepur Sector.
