The Stage has been set for the finals of the 26th Surjit Hockey Tournament where star studded Indian Oil, Mumbai will face Bharat Petroleum, Mumbai at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, in Jalandhar, on Friday evening. On Thursday, in the First Semi Final of the day, Indian Oil, Mumbai stroke out Border Security Force, Jalandhar by 5-4 via a tie-breaker after playing 1-1 draw at their stipulated time of game. While in another Semi Final, Bharat Petroleum, Mumbai defeated Air India, Mumbai by 2-0. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary of final match of the 26th Surjeet Singh Hockey tournament from Jalandhar. The commentary can be heard on Rajdhani and other channel from 6:45 pm to 08:15 pm or till the end of the game.
