26 new Delhi Govt services under Time-Bound Delivery Act

The Delhi Government has brought 26 more public services under the ambit of the Delhi Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services Act for delivering desired services within the prescribed time limit. With addition of the new services, the total number of services brought under this Act has now gone up to 96.

The new services added include issuance of certified copies of revenue records, no-objection certificate for registration of sale deeds, registration of thrift and credit society by Registrar of Cooperative Societies, issuance of duplicate ration card and transfer of ration card and issuance of duplicate national permit by Transport department.

As per provisions of the legislation, officials are liable to pay financial penalty of 10 rupees per day up to a maximum of 200 rupees to applicants if they fail to deliver services on time.
