Twenty six Asian sailors held hostage by Somali pirates for nearly five years have been released. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Hua Chunying, said the crew members of a fishing vessel hijacked by Somali pirates in March 2012, were rescued on Saturday and moved to Kenya yesterday with the help of relevant United Nations agencies. <br/><br/>The sailors from China, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia were taken captive when their Omani-flagged vessel was seized south of the Seychelles. Three people died in captivity.
