The lone surviving terrorist of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, Ajmal Kasab has filed an appeal in Bombay High Court challenging death penalty awarded to him for killing 166 persons on November 26, 2008. Kasab's lawyer Amin Solkar said that the Pakistani terrorist has challenged the death penalty saying it is a harsh punishment and pleaded that there are lapses in evidence produced by police in the trial court.<br/>The court has decided to hear both matters on a day-to-day basis from October 18 and allowed Kasab to appear through video conferencing. <br/>
