India welcomes Pakistan's effort to expedite the trial of the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Talking to media persons in Delhi today Union Home Secretary RK Singh said that Pakistani officials have petitioned the court that the trail of 26/11 accused should be conducted on day-to-day basis.
According to reports, the Pakistani government has petitioned the court in Rawalpindi to conduct hearing of 2008 Mumbai attacks accused such as Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi, Hafiz Saeed and others on a day-to-day basis.
