A special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has remanded LeT operative and key 26/11 handler Abu Jundal to judicial custody till 24th September in the 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case. The special court yesterday has also allowed the Maharashtra ATS to take Abu Jundal to Nashik in connection with his bid to attack the police academy in that city. According to ATS sources, Jundal will be produced before a Nashik court by the ATS to seek his remand.Meanwhile, Maharashtra ATS officials told the special MCOCA court in Mumbai yesterday that they had spoken to Abu Jundal's parents and asked them to come to Mumbai to meet him but they had not turned up yet. The MCOCA court had earlier on 03rd September granted Jundal's request of meeting his parents in order to arrange for a lawyer.
