26/11 attack: Pak panel to arrive in New Delhi today

A 12-member Judicial Commission from Pakistan is arriving in New Delhi today. It will be in Mumbai on Thursday to record the statements of witnesses in connection with 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case.

Special Public Prosecutor Ujwal Nikam who represented Maharashtra government in the trial against Ajmal Kasab, will assist the Commission that will examine the witnesses.

The statement of witnesses will be used as evidence before an Anti-Terrorism Court in Pakistan which is conducting trial against LeT's Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and six other suspects.
