Government has electrified 258 villages across the country during last week under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna. Power Ministry said, out of these electrified villages, 120 villages belong to Odisha , 64 in Jharkhand, 41 in Assam, 19 in Madhya Pradesh, eight in Rajasthan and six in Chhattisgarh. The Ministry said, Government will electrify 18,452 unelectrified villages by 2018.
