2,500 classrooms at higher education level to be converted into smart classrooms in next two months, says Karnataka Deputy CM

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayana, who holds the Higher Education portfolio, has informed that 2,500 classrooms at the higher education level will be converted into smart classrooms in the next two months. Speaking at the Government Arts college in Bengaluru yesterday, he said that Integrated Learning Management System with high speed internet and the state of the art tabs will be available in the smart classrooms. The Learning Management System will make the learning process more accessible and enable teachers to track the learning level of students.<br />''<br />''The Minister informed that 5,500 smart classrooms will be ready in the state over a period of six months. He further said that the National Education Policy will be implemented in the state from the next academic year, giving the students the freedom to select the curriculum of their choice. Speaking about the jobs generated in Bengaluru, Dr. Ashwath Narayana informed that the pharma sector alone generated five lakh new jobs annually and other sectors contributed around two lakh jobs.</span><br />
