In Bihar at least 25 people are feared drowned this afternoon when a boat capsized in mid stream of the river Punpun in Naubatpur area under Pipra police station in Patna district.Director General of Police Neelmani told that 7 bodies including 2 women and one child have so far been fished out. Search operation is on to locate the missing bodies.The ill-fated boat was carrying villagers who were going for Dushera Mela celeberations. Meanwhile the state government has announced an exgratia payment of one lakh rupees each to the next of the kin of the deceased.
