South Central Railway rescheduled 24 trains on Thursday due to the rail blockade called by the Telangana Joint Action Committee. According to a press release, 17 passenger trains and 12 goods trains detained for different spans of time. The trains left after some delay.The normal running of the trains have resumed by the evening. GRP and RPF teams were deployed for ensuring safety of the passengers and to protect the railway property. Police sources said that 27 cases have been registered and 598 persons taken into custody for disrupting rail traffic
