In Egypt, 24 people killed and 41 injured in two road accidents due to fog in the governorate of Sharkiya , 70 kilometers northeast of Cairo.Egypt’s official online media al Ahram has reported that the first accident took place on the 10th of Ramadan Road, after a pickup truck slammed into another car, killing 14 passengers and injuring 16 others. A second accident took place on the Fakos and Zakazik Road, when a cab driver smashed into a pickup truck. The accident left ten dead and 25 injured. It says that heavy fog and bad safety measures led to these road accidents.
