In Kerala, the IT enabled round the clock public grievance redressel cell in Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's office began functioning from Thursday. Inaugurating the new facility to ensure speed and transparency in administration the Chief Minister said people can lodge complaints from anywhere in the world, anytime throughout the week. The centre can be accessed on '1076' toll free number for BSNL customers. Those using other service will have to dial 1800425. No call will be left unattended and a token number will be issued for each complaint for future reference. IT experts working on three shifts will operate the cell. Kerala Chief Minister's office is already under recently introduced 'round-the-clock webcasting' to ensure transparency.
