In Jammu and Kashmir, 24.58 percent polling was recorded till noon in 18 assembly segments, spread over three districts of Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian in Kashmir valley which went to polls in the 4th phase of five-phased elections today alongwith two assembly segments of Samba district in Jammu Division. Samba Assembly segment in Samba district of Jammu Division recorded maximum 37.85% voting.

In Kashmir Valley, Shangus Assembly segment recorded maximum 36.19% polling followed by 35.71 % in Dooru constituency of Anantnag district. Sonawar Assembly segment in Srinagar district where J&K Chief Minister is contesting this time after shifting from his traditional Ganderbal seat, recorded 23.52% poling by noon.
