231 fresh new COVID 19 cases were reported in Meghalaya including two deaths, one from East Khasi Hills district and another from West Jaintia Hills district in the last 24 hours. Directorate of Health Services informed that 362 recoveries were also registered bringing the total recovered cases to 70,841 while the number of active cases stands at 2,682. The total number of fatalities due to COVID 19 have reached 1,294 while 13,04,961 people have been vaccinated so far. Of the total people who have received the vaccine, 10,11,081 people have got the first dose while 2,93,880 people have received both doses.<br />''  <br />
