The 22nd session of the World Economic Forum got underway in the Swiss mountain resort city of Davos today. More than 50 heads of states or Governments and over 1000 delegates from leading international agencies business and corporate houses are taking part in the three day long annual summit. The theme of the summit this year is "Reshaping the World" aimed at bridging the gap between the developed and the developing nations and in the process reaching to the millions of poor across the globe. The meeting assumes significance since it comes at a time when global economy is showing signs of recovery.
