229 Indian citizens stranded in conflict zone of Sudan rescued and safely brought to Bengaluru as part of Operation Kaveri

As part of Operation Kaveri, 229 Indian citizens stranded in the conflict zone of Sudan were rescued and safely brought to Bengaluru today. The 229 evacuees from Sudan landed at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru this morning. Out of them 125 hail from Karnataka. The last mile connectivity is provided to the evacuees. KSRTC public transport buses were arranged from Bengaluru airport to their respective hometowns after providing necessary medical health check-ups. <br />''<br />''The 16 evacuees from Bihar, one from Gujarat, two from Karnataka, one from Maharashtra, eight from Odisha and one from Delhi are quarantined at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases in Bengaluru.<br />''<br />''<br />''<br />
