<span style="color: #222222;">Government has said that 22 Lakh 84 thousand paddy farmers have been benefitted from current Kharif Marketing Season Procurement Operations with MSP value of over 50 thousand crore rupees. Agriculture Ministry said, over 268 lakh tonnes of paddy have been procured from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, out of the total purchase of paddy, Punjab alone has contributed over 189 lakh tonnes which is more than 70 per cent of total procurement. It said, the approval was accorded for procurement of over 45 lakh tonnes of Pulse and Oilseeds of Kharif Marketing Season 2020 for the States of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh under Price Support Scheme.</span><br />
