Twenty two States have abolished their check posts after the roll-out of the new indirect tax regime Goods and Services Tax from 1st of July. <br/><br/>The States which have removed their check posts include, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat,Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh,Delhi, Haryana, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh. Seven other States are in the process of abolishing their Check Posts. <br/><br/>These states are Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya , Nagaland,Punjab, Mizoram and Tripura.
