In Tamil Nadu, 22 people were charred to death on Tuesday night when the private bus they were travelling in, skidded off a bridge and caught fire near Kaveripakkam, about 40 km from Vellore. Police said, two persons including the driver were injured in the accident. The bus was on its way to Tiruppur from Chennai.
