In Himachal Pradesh, at least twenty two passengers were killed, when a private bus rolled down in Gobind Sagar Reservoir near Raian, about twenty kilometres from Bilaspur today morning.

Fourteen injured have been admitted in Ghumarvin and Bilaspur hospitals for treatment. The district officials have rushed to the spot.The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

This private ill fated bus was on its way to Bilaspur town from the village Rishikesh and covered half of its journey when all of sudden it rolled down in the Gobind Sagar Reservoir. The bus was overcrowded at that time and several passengers were also travelling on the roof top of the bus.

It feared that some bodies might have been washed away in the water and the death toll could rise. The rescue work is on in the area.
