Qatar has released 22 Indian fishermen after spending nearly three weeks in jail there. They were arrested off Qatar's coast at Al Ruwais on the 7th of this month for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line.

Officials in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu said all the fishermen were employed in a fishing company in Bahrain. They were released after the company paid the fine amount to the Qatar authorities.
