Government today said there has been a 22 per cent decline in incidents of violence in the Naxal-affected states in the last three years. Minister of State for Home Hasnraj Ahir said this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha. <br/><br/>He said, that Left Wing Extremism affected areas, during the last three years witnessed reduction in incidents of violence from around four thousand to three thousand 109. Mr Ahir further said, an increase of 78 per cent was also witnessed in the killings of Maoist cadres during July 2014 to June 2017.
