On the final day of his week long visit to Arunachal Pradesh, the Dalai Lama today made a call for world peace. The Tibetan spiritual leader arrived in Itanagar from Bombila today amidst a rousing welcome by dignitaries including Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and cabinet colleagues. Speaking during an interaction session at the Itanagar Banquet Hall, the Dalai Lama advocated that the 21st century should be christened as the Century of Peace. The spiritual guru also urged his followers to shun the path of violence and hatred and said anger will only make the people reject them. The Dalai Lama will wind up his week long visit to Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow.
