<span style="color: #222222;">Director General NCC, Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh has said, 2,155 cadets from all States and Union Territories will participate in Republic Day Camp this year.<br />''<br />'' Briefing a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, he said, cadets for Republic Day Camp have been selected after several rounds of rigorous screening at groups and directorates level in the last one year. <br />''<br />''Mr Singh said each cadet had undergone four to five screenings before reaching the camp. He said, cadets are participating in a number of activities, which will culminate with Prime Minister Rally and the prestigious Prime Minister Banner, which is graded on performance of all Directorates throughout the year. <br />''<br />''Mr Singh also highlighted various training activities which NCC continued even during COVID pandemic, especially 'NCC YOGDAN' Exercise as frontline corona warriors. He further added that NCC has also undertaken several initiatives as part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.'
