<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka  2,116 new covid -19 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 8,55,912. On the other hand 3,368 people were recovered from the disease and discharged from various hospitals in the State and the total recoveries have gone up  to 8,14,949. At present 29,470 active patients are taking treatment in various hospitals in the State among them 797 are in ICU.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Among the new cases Bengaluru Urban district reported with the highest number of 1,069 cases  followed by Mysuru  115 and Hassan district with 100.  In six districts  the new covid cases are in single digit, while 21 districts are reported with double digit. During the last 24 hours  a record number of 1,15,386  samples were tested  and  so far 91,58,603 test have been conducted in the State.</span><br />
