They include increased testing for the SARSCov2 virus, early detection of the hidden COVID-19 cases, effective clinical management and cure and discharge of cases. Preventive efforts also go in parallel with the clinical measures. The approach has helped in maintaining the mortality rate well below one per cent. Meanwhile, a special team of experts in the state are studying the past epidemiological data and are making the projections on the possible scenario in the next three months. Based on their findings, the disease control strategies are being realigned. As most of the victims of the pandemic are aged more than 60-years, age is also being considered as one of the eleven comorbidity conditions relating to the pandemic along with diabetes and systemic hypertension. </span><br />
