<span style="color: #222222;">The Indian Army today said that 2021 has been a watershed year for the armed forces on Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. Addressing the northern command investiture ceremony at Udhampur today, General Officer-Commanding-in-Chief, northern command, Lt Gen Y K Joshi said, the army personnel displayed boldness in standing up to the aggressive designs in the two Union Territories. He said, there has been a decline in terrorist related incidents, stone pelting activities and protests in Jammu and Kashmir due to tireless efforts of the government forces and the people of J&K.<br />'' During the ceremony, appreciation certificates were provided to various units for their overall distinguished performance in the command theatre.</span><br />
