<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar Government has suspended 20 officers and dismissed seven engineers for their lapses that caused prolonged water logging in Patna following incessant rains in the last week of September last year. <br />''<br />''The suspended officers include one from Indian Administrative Service, the then Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO) Managing Director Amarendra Prasad Singh and one Indian Revenue Service officer Anupam Kumar Suman who was deputed as Patna Municipal Commissioner. Mr Suman is on Central deputation now. Three Deputy Collectors were also suspended. The State Government has started proceedings against suspended officials.<br />''<br />''The action against them were taken on the basis of findings of the high-level committee headed by the Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh.</span><br />
