<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Labour Rao Inderjit Singh today said that 20 thousand cases are pending before the National Company Law Tribunal. Replying to a supplementary during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, &nbsp;the Minister said, as on June 3, 2022, out of 87,394 cases before the Tribunal, over 66 thousand cases have disposed off, with a commendable &nbsp;average disposal rate of 76 per cent. He said, the government has sanctioned adequate number of posts of Judicial and Technical Members, as well as other officers in the NCLT and the vacancies are being filled up as and when they arise. He noted that 20 members were appointed last year and added that a Selection Committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of India has already initiated the selection process for filling up the vacancies existing and arising during the current year.<br />''<br />''The Minister said, the government has also approved engagement of sufficient number of officers and staff on contractual and outsourcing basis to ensure that the NCLT functions are not hampered due to any vacancy of regular staff.</span><br />
