More from our correspondent:
An average 20 per cent polling has been recorded by 11 this morning in nine booths in Odisha where re-polling is going on. The voters turnout is relatively low in the first hour due to intense heatwave and it is expected to rise in the afternoon hours. Re-polling will continue till 5 this evening. Re-polling has been ordered in these booths by the Election Commission following allegations of massive rigging and other multiple irregularities including damaging of Electronic Voting Machines.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made in all the nine booths. Earlier, polling was held in these booths on 17th of this month along with the second and last phase of elections for 11 Lok Sabha and 77 Assembly seats in the state.
