Union Human Resources Minister Kapil Sibal said that 20 thousand students will be given Akash tablets on 11th of next month this year at a function in New Delhi. He told reporters in Indore today that this programme will be held on the occasion of Education Day.

Sibal said that Akash will be available to the people in the next five to seven years. He said that India has taken the initiative to provide tablet at such a reasonable price and the entire world is looking towards it. Later, Sibal inaugurated the building of Mahrasi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan in Ujjain .
