20 Ministers of AP Cabinet announce their decision to resign over seperate Telangana issue

The crisis has further deepened in Andhra Pradesh with 20 ministers deciding to resign today protesting against center’s decision over Telangana issue. These Ministers who belong to Rayalaseema and Coastal Regions have met in Hyderabad this morning and decided to quit in protest against the Center’s decision on the issue. However Chief Minister Rosaiah appealed them not to take any decision in haste. The Chief Minister told them to convey their feelings to the party High Command. On the other hand, in the backdrop of continuing resignations by MLAs and other public representatives of Coastal and Rayalaseema regions, the MLAs and MPs belonging to Telangna Region are meeting in Hyderabad tomorrow to discuss the future course of action. Meanwhile, the Government is seeking legal opinion to tide over the crisis in the wake of 138 MLAs tendering resignations en-masse.<br/><br/>On the other hand, Bandh that continued for the second day today in the Coasta and Raylaseem regions of the state turned violent at several places. Additional police forces were sent to all the districts in these areas to safe guard Law and Order.
