A local TV channel reports, a group of militants launched an attack on a police check post in Bazai, a tribal area bordering Afghanistan. During the attack, no casualties were reported on the police side. In retaliation, the police launched the counter attack. No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack. In a separate incident, in a nearby tribal area of Khyber Agency, a group of unknown militants launched another attack on a police check post in Bara Dogara area.
