1 policeman killed in encounter with naxalities in ChattisgarhAt least one policeman was killed in an encounter with the naxalites in Chhattisgarh today. According to police sources, the encounter took place this morning near Mankeli under Bijapur district. The encounter with the naxalites was going on when reports last came in. It may be recalled that two CRPF jawans were killed in a landmine blast by the Naxalites yesterday near Basaguda under the Bijapur district itself. On the other hand, police had also killed 9 naxalites near Jagargunda under the Dantewada district yesterday.
