They have also<br />''<br />''pointed out that there are no reservations in any Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)selections &nbsp;based on the origin of state or state of residence.<br />''<br />''It has also been pointed out that &nbsp;in the notifications issued during the last few years about 2.2 lakh candidates from Tamilnadu had opted for RRB,Bengaluru which caters to South Western Railway.<br />''<br />''The Southern Railway has also pointed out that applications for 597 posts of technicians were called by Railways in their advertisement number 2/18. 3627 applications were received , out of which 2839 cleared the exams. Of these 272 were shortlisted for physical tests and finally 54 were selected.</span><br />
