In Pakistan, at least 20 people have been killed and several others injured in a suicide bombing at a funeral procession near the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar. Officials said the funeral was for the wife of a pro-government ethnic Pashtun tribal elder in the Matani area. A senior police official said that the blast in Adezai area was a suicide attack targeting the Aman Lashkar. Several anti-Taliban tribal groups are based in Matani and they are often targeted by the insurgents.
