In Afghanistan, at least 20 people were killed and more than 90 others wounded in a powerful suicide bomb blast today. The Taliban took responsibility for the attack in which a truck was used. The explosion destroyed part of a hospital in Qalat, the capital of southern Zabul province. It also left a fleet of ambulances broken and battered.
