In Meghalaya, twenty Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militants led by its chief instructor, on Wednesday surrendered before the State Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh and deposited a huge cache of arms and ammunition. The twenty GNLA cadres led by their chief instructor Mingran T Sangma were brought to Shillong from Garo hills overnight for the surrender ceremony that was held at the police reserve in Shillong in the presence of top police officials.
