In Rajasthan, as many as 20 districts are affected by locust attacks.  AIR correspondent reports that about 90 thousand hectares area has been affected due to locust attacks so far.<br />'' <br />'' The movement of the locust is not confined to Rajasthan this time. It has reached in some districts of the neighbouring states Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh too.<br />'' <br />'' Capital Jaipur has also witnessed a locust attack after a long time. The locusts have so far affected about 90 thousand hectares area.<br />'' <br />'' Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Om Prakash told AIR that locust warning organization and local administration are engaged in locust control activities.<br />'' <br />'' And these activities have been carried out in about 70 thousand hectare area so far.<br />'' <br />'' The use of drones has also been started for this work first time.<br />'' <br />'' The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has said that the impact of locust attack this time may be just double than last year.<br />'' <br />'' <br />
