In Jammu & Kashmir, two unidentified militants were killed in a brief encounter between gunmen and the security forces in Handwara area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district late afternoon today. <br/><br/>A police official told AIR that the gunfight erupted after security forces launched specific operation in Waripora hamlet of Handwara area in the district. The identity and the affiliation of the slain militants is being ascertained.
