Two Taekwondo Players of Ladakh Tashi Tundup GNDU Amritsar and Shanaz Parveen MDU Rohtak were selected for FISU World University Games-2023 to be held at Chengdu in China. The players were selected during the recent trials held at Guru Nanak Dev University. Both players had won Gold Medals in All India Inter University Games.

The 2023 FISU World University Games from 28th July to 8 August. GNDU Amritsar will conduct a 1 month Coaching Camp. Shahnaz is the 1st woman player of Ladakh who is representing India in the World University Games and Tashi will be representing the country for the second time.
