In the Kashmir Valley, two policemen were injured and a police vehicle was torched when protestors clashed with police after Eid prayers at Idgah in down-town Srinagar. People were protesting against putting of Hurriyat and religious leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house-arrest on the occasion of Eid.
