With the confirmation of two more new positive cases of Corona Virus in Leh, the total number has risen to eight in Union Territory of Ladakh. Both the cases have been quarantined in hospital facility in Leh and they have been shifted to Isolation Ward in Sonam Norboo Memorial Hospital.<br />''<br />'' UT Spokesman Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Sampheal said a total of 16 samples were sent to National Centre for Disease Control for testing from Leh District. The positive cases are identified as relative of the old patients who are undergoing treatment at SNM hospital in Leh.<br />''<br />'' As a preventive measure, the District Magistrate, Leh has ordered to close down all Gyms, recreation clubs and other such places in Leh District.<br />''<br />'' The District Administration has also notified some parts of Choshot Yokma village, as containment area as one of the new positive new case is identified as residents of the village. It is the second area that has been brought under the containment area.<br />''<br />'' The UT Administration has placed 1,495 persons under surveillance in which include 1,332 from Leh District and 163 from Kargil District. Meanwhile, 150 persons have completed mandatory quarantine of 14 days.<br />''  <br />
