Special Investigating Team (SIT) probing senior CPI leader Govind Pansare murder case today recovered around 23 mobile hand sets from the arrested suspect Sameer Gaikawad. AIR correspondent has reported that SIT Chief Sanjay Kumar spoke to media persons today. Kumar told the reporters that along with 23 mobile hand sets the crime branch of Kolhapur also recovered one small knife and 2 bags of Santan santha from Gaikwad's house.<br/><br/>The seized mobile sim cards have been sent to Pune lab for further testing. Kumar however stated suspect Gaikwad is not co-operating with the investigators. Two more people related to Gaikwad, including a woman were detained this morning. According to SIT chief, both the relatives are being grilled about their involvement with Sameer Gaikwad in killing of the CPI leader and a well known scholar in Kolhapur.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Kumar also told that Gaikwad's voice samples would be sent to Gujrat for further probe. Mr Pansare and his wife were out on a morning walk on February 16 when they were shot at near their home in Kolhapur by men on a bike. Mr Pansare died four days later, after being flown to Mumbai for treatment.
