In Manipur, two unidentified militants have been killed in an encounter with police commandos at Kamoching area. Official sources today said the encounter ensued when Imphal East police commandos were patrolling and some militants fired at them. The commandos retaliated killing the two militants on the spot. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot. The bodies have been sent to the Regional Institute of Medical Science and hospital for post-mortem.
